Between the Berliner Hauptbahnhof and the Naturkundemuseum you can find a very special café & restaurant at the Invalidenstraße 90.
Here, you are offered fresh cuisine and homemade cakes. Also the tarte flambée is very delicious. I couldn’t resist to take a picture of my favorite cake, which consists of a crunchy dough and which is decorated with crème fraîche, shrimps, rucola and tomatoes. Galilei also offers everything else from the “Schnitzel Wiener Art” to “Chicken Curry”. The meals are made with a lot of love.
Ute and Nikolai Triesscheijn own this café and are very obliging to their guests. Nikolai makes one of the best latte macchiatos!
Their priority is satisfying and making their guests happy. They’re also interested in individual wishes and would also cook vegan.
Another highlight is the nice terrace where you can also enjoy your meal. The atmosphere strikes out thanks to stuccoes on the ceilings, big hanging lamps and mirrors. For me the Galilei is the ideal place for a business lunch or for an exquisite meeting with your friends. The café also offers a catering service.
