The Barcelona Bridal Week is one of the most prestigious fairs for bridal fashion. The fair is held from May 06 to May 11, 2014. The fair is exclusively dedicated to bridal dresses, suits for grooms, dresses for the communion, other dresses for special occasions and accessories.
In 1991, the Barcelona Bridal Week was born and is has grown until it has reached the peak of the European bridal fairs. The media and visitors from all over the world travel to the Catalan capital to inform their countries about the newest trends from Barcelona. This year, 14,000 visitors from around 50 countries are expected to come. Around 230 national and international companies are expected to join the event and to ensure that it will be a great success.
The highlight will be the “Pronovias Fashion Show”. This label for bridal fashion is the unchallenged brand leader when it comes to exclusive bridal fashion. Patricia Avendano is another designer who will present her newest collection at the Barcelona Bridal Week. She has been active since 1987 and has been featured at the New York Fashion Week, Tokyo Fashion Week and also in Milan. She creates bridal wear, but also dresses for the communion and for other festive occasions.
