Genuss_pur_am_Bebelplatz_bei_StadtLesen_in_Berlin

This is a shout-out to all bookworms. This weekend, from May 1st to May 4th, the Bebelplatz in Berlin is transformed into an open-air reading paradise.

Far away from the fast pace of everyday life, every book fan is invited to browse through more than 3000 books. Of course, all genres are available and guess what. Cozy and comfy furniture has been provided to make your reading experience as pleasant and enjoyable as possible. After you choose one exemplar for reading, you can just let yourself fall into one of the awesome comfy beanbag chairs or how about a nice reading experience in a hammock? Here you can read until it gets dark.

Starting at 9am, the open-air reading room is opened for browsing through wonderful books, for talking about literature and for diving into your favorite literary fantasy world. On Friday and Sunday, a special motto await you. On Friday, the “Integrationslesetag” (integration reading day) will especially appeal to those with a migration background because they are given the chance to present their self-written texts. On Sunday, the Familienlesetag (family reading day) will take place, which places the focus on children and juvenile literature.

And it gets better: This literary highlight doesn’t even cost you a penny. Well, put on your reading glasses and rush to the Bebelplatz!
