Jill Stuart is a New York-based label. Of course, it is also known all over the world; and so it will also be featured at the Fashion Week in Rio. There this amazing brand will seduce us with a lot of femininity.
The new collection for fall/winter 2014/15 stands out with elegant femininity. Color is only used very sparsely. This is typical for the label. While some designs of the spring/summer collection 2014 demonstrate a more girly side, the new collection is dominated by maturity.
It’s the first time that masculine silhouettes are used. They are transformed into sturdy coats that highlight the shoulders. Even fur decorates some coats. A white creation with an emphasized waist stands out a lot. It transforms the wearer into a Snow Queen.
The short black dress contrasts strongly with the white coat. It also strikes out thanks to reduction. It seems like the dress is covering the wearer like the calyx of a blossom which provides the wearer with the charm of a fairy. The model is also a contrast to the detailed designs that impress with embellishments and prints.
Jill Stuart is a highlight thanks to elegant and yet fresh, young designs. This label will also be a highlight at the upcoming Fashion Week in Rio. I’m sure about that.
