Carla Zampatti creates unimaginably beautiful fashion. Her breathtaking dresses look like they’ve been torn out from a dream. They look like they are too beautiful to be true. Carla Zampatti is on the scrap heap of the fashion industry. Her first collection was already created in 1965. This year, you can marvel at her fall/winter collection 14/15 at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Sydney  on April 06.

This label offers you fashion for very special occasions. Floor-length dresses made of flowing chiffon, coats and costumes made of tweed, white lace and exciting leather elements will amaze you. The latex gloves, which reach the upper arms, transform the gowns into real eye catchers. They build up a contrast to the soft, blue-grey chiffon of a floor-length dress which impresses with its deep neckline and accentuated waist.

While my eyes are sticking on another spectacular, body-shaping halterneck strap dress, which consists of a material in a python skin look, I already spotted a row of other dreamy gowns:  Accentuated waists, body-shaping upper bodies and a wide, almost bell-like, short skirts. Parallels to Christian Dior are obvious when you look at this one dress; especially because the long gloves are covering the model’s arms.

However, Zampatti’s collection is not only defined by dresses. The modern, elegant woman also wears pants – black cloth pants that reach the ankles. This can be combined with a black bustier which is decorated with peplums. This entire ensemble can be worn at an elegant event.

After having examined Zampatti’s collection, I’m sure that this woman can make dreams come true. At least, I know that one or two dresses have already appeared in my dreams…
