FIRMA Berlin was established by Daniela Biesenbach and Carl Tillessen. They both met in 1996 and after only two years they presented their first collection. FIRMA and Berlin are inseparably connected. From Berlin comes the inspiration for their collection, hence the fashion is great for Berlin’s urban lifestyle.
For Summer 2014, women are wearing a mix of easygoing fashion and business look. The pants, jumpers and dresses have rather wide and casual cuts. As a contrast to that, the blazers give the outfit a very formal look. Pants with boyish cuts are literally made for living in the city! You’ll always look great in them, on the streets, in the evening out and at work. The label also offers casual jumpers, which have a very elegant touch to them because they are made of silk. My favorite piece by FIRMA Berlin is the casual overall, which looks just great without needing any flashy extras. Almost all of the collection’s garments have rather dark colors, but are also emphasized with bright adornments.
In the men’s collection, the style also remains casual. The cloth pants in different colors, jumpers and t-shirts have casual cuts – you have a light look but you are still well dressed. Even the elegant suits don’t seem too serious, but also convinced us with the relaxed style. You’ll find almost every piece they offer in different colors, thus you can always wear your favorite colors!
