The designer of this label are inspired by the philosophy of the early Bauhaus art university and their graduates. The motto was “Shape follows function” and that’s it. They went without embellishments and Bergner Schmidt concentrates on geometric shapes.
The label follows this example and focuses on the simplicity and creates conciseness. Bergner Schmidt is making jewelry out of concrete, who would have thought it?! Rings, necklaces, bracelets – all these are made out of this extraordinary material and are mostly embellished with a silver or golden surface. They also create everyday objects out of concrete. There is for example a giant clothes pin which is used for holding business cards together. There are even tiny houses as penholders.
