We’ve already told you about Daniel Pallilo’s successful label. In terms of prints and 3D adornments, he shows us how talented he is. Thereby he appears to have a certain passion for childlike monsters and direct visual communication. An example for direct visual communication would be a sweater with the caption “I Hate My Job” printed on it. Another one of from the latest spring and summer collection 2014 saying “Me Against The World”.
The current Fall and Winter collection is less aggressive and is called “The Trip”. And well, the first oversize pullover you’ll see clearly tells you what kind of trip we’re talking about here: Red, tall letters are printed on it saying “LSD”. This collection primarily features black and white, but also has a bunch of flashy creations and psychedelic prints.
His latest collection for Spring and Summer has more garments and various motifs that we’ve already seen in previous collections. For example, there are skulls, sad smileys, Yin Yang signs and the print with the many eyes. Of course, Daniel Pallilo further experiments with new prints such as rainbows and aliens. What I especially like are his oversize t-shirt designs, they have an animal print on them and the animal’s ears are casually dangling over the wearer’s shoulders, because they’re 3D adornments.
Daniel Palillo is a great choice for Fall and Winter but also for Spring and Summer if you want to enrich your cupboard. His garments aren’t only super comfy, but also imaginative and funny – and what’s a better way to communicate other than with clothes these days?!
