Nicht nur der Schmuck des Labels KD2024 ist irgendwie anders, auch die sonstigen Accessoires sind es. Dazu gehören zum Beispiel die Gürtel und Taschen aber auch T-Shirts. Während beim Schmuck noch Silber und bunte Steine genutzt werden, verbleiben die Jacken und Taschen, Gürtel und Shirts in tiefem Schwarz. Der Look ist düster und geheimnisvoll und geht in die Gothik-Richtung.
Jacken haben keine Ärmel, dafür aber Löcher, weite Kapuzen und viele Details wie zum Beispiel Lederbänder, die an den Nähten befestigt sind. Auch die T-Shirts sind mit Absicht löchrig gestaltet, und durch verschiedene Anhänger aus Silber mit ganz unterschiedlichen Motiven passen Mode und Schmuck eins zu eins zusammen.
Aufeinander abgestimmt sind aber nicht nur Schmuck und Mode, auch die breiten Ledergürtel sind ein Muss, wenn ihr schon ein Kleidungsstück von KD2024 tragt. Diese haben die zackige Form eines Drachenschwanzes oder einen Verschluss in Drachenform. Bei KD2024 ist nichts schlicht oder einfach gestaltet, jedes einzelne Stück der Kollektionen ist bis ins kleinste Detail durchgeplant.
Dazu fehlt dann nur noch eine Handtasche. Wie wär´s mal mit einer, die aussieht wie der Kopf eines Aliens, oder doch lieber die kleine Lederclutch? Bis hin zur Geldklammer aus Silber mit Krokodilskopf und dem dunklen Lederschal könnt ihr hier eure Fantasien ausleben. Bei KD 2024 werden eurem Stil keine Grenzen gesetzt. Label KD2024 presents an unusual jewelry collection. The main materials used here are leather and silver. Silver and leather perfectly add up to each other, one of them is elegant, solid and shining while the other is flexible, soft and sleek. And that’s what makes their jewelry so special. It’s a mix of “jungle and techno” – that’s what the label’s website says.
However, it isn’t just those two materials but also gold, deer bone and so much more. There’s a wide variety of rings, bracelets and earrings – this gives you the agony of choice. KD2024 focuses on designing rings and countless versions of leather wristbands though. Their style is quite fantastic with the exciting shapes and the colorful stones which they for example use to adorn metal bracelets.
Sometimes the jewelry also looks like it was inspired by the Native Americans, especially the necklaces where the long, fringed leather stripes are hanging down.
Dragons, skulls, claws and eyes are just four of the many shapes you can see on their rings. KD2024 also lives out their fantasies when giving their creations a name. For example, they named a ring “Octopuc Triple Legacy” – it kind of looks like brass knuckles. Another one is called “Shell vz Claw” and there’s a fat ring with spikes on it with a rather subtle name: “4P”. The bracelets also often are graced with claws or spikes. My absolute favorite by KD2024 is a dynamically designed leather wristband called “Warrior” with rivets that have been aligned to look like a reptile’s scales. In contrast to that the leather necklaces with the feathers on it look really tender, almost fragile.
KD2024 makes it possible to add a whole new fashionable aspect to your outfit. Tiger skulls on rings make it look tough, while the slim silver wristbands make the look more feminine. Their fashion is a statement with which you can keep re-inventing your own outfit. Maybe they even came up with the name “KD2024” because they’re 10 years ahead of the trend. I have no idea, but one thing is for sure: The joy you’ll have with this jewelry will last eternally!
