Chantal Thomass was founded in 1975 and it has been known for rediscovering long forgotten designs. For this fall and winter, the label’s collection is bringing every single piece of a circus into life. One part of it is a magician. The model is acting as an assistant, standing on a rotating wheel. When the wheel starts to spin, the magician throws a knife at it and tries to keep the assistant unharmed. On that picture, she’s standing still so we can perfectly see the lingerie. She shows off the mesh fabric, black on white.
Of course there is no circus without animals. Therefore, they experiment with exotic animal prints. On this picture it seems as if a panther is trying to persuade another one to jump through a ring. The hissing of one of them clearly shows how hot this lingerie is.
Every good circus will never forgo the clown and so does Chantal Thomass, creating her own little comedian. Here we have a small combination of a bra and high-waisted underwear. It’s dotted colorfully and leaves such a sweet and slightly naïve impression – just like a typical clown. Chantal Thomass’ underwear represents the old in the new. The designs are very modern and seductive, even though it is dedicated to something in the past which brings in a touch of nostalgia.
