The designer Chocheng was introduced to the fashion world by his grandmother who herself was already known as a designer. Her fashion was very much sought-after. Now, her grandchild has been declared one of the most popular fashion designers in Hong Kong. The young fashion creator however already managed to celebrate successes on an international base. The elegant style of his fashion doesn’t only impress celebrities.
Thanks to several sophisticated elements, Chocheng turns a dress, a top and a skirt into a wonderful and elegant masterpiece. This winter, the dresses are transformed into something special with the help of pleats in the skirt, button borders and different fabrics. However, elegance doesn’t mean that the sensuality of the wearer is placed in the background. A vest made of velvet for instance is only buttoned at the neck, while the breasts remain partly uncovered and the abdomen completely revealed. This look is undoubtedly very sexy, especially for the winter. The same sexiness is shared by a velvet dress, which is very short.
The colors black and a dark blue dominate the collection. These nuances appear very wintery, but are at the same time absolutely timeless. This is one aspect I personally find very important. Creating art which is simply timeless – this is what Chocheng is absolutely capable of doing, which incredibly impresses me. No matter, whether it’s a blazer, a dress, a skirt, a coat or a onesie with flared pants. Chocheng proves that he is blessed with vast creativity. This time, he got inspired by classical beauties such as Audrey Hepburn, Marlene Dietrich or international divas of the 20ies.
Chocheng places you, the wearer, in the foreground. The collection supports your feminine, strong and elegant look, but also your sensual side. The symbiosis of cozy winter fashion and beautiful, noble velvet definitely makes this collection one of my favorites this winter.
