Wem der BAIT x Saucony Shadow Original “Cruel World” zu vegan und öko war, der sollte lieber zum Schwestermodel, dem Saucony Shadow Original “Snake” greifen. Denn für ihn musste auf jeden Fall ein Tier sterben. Ist wahrscheinlich auch besser so, denn aus Schlangenleder sind Sneaker eh cooler, oder? Und was sollten diese ganzen Schlangen denn sonst tun, außer uns als Sneaker zu beglücken? Die unkonventionelle Silhouette hat nicht viel mit den anderen Sneaks auf dem Markt zu tun. Dennoch ist sie cool genug, um mit den Mainstream-Produkten mitzuhalten. Ob das ausschließlich an dem Design liegt, das verschiedene, stilbildende Einflüsse beinhaltet, oder am wilden Schlangenkult, der momentan so hohe Wellen schlägt, ist Ansichtssache.

Who thought that the BAIT x Saucony Shadow Original “Cruel World” was just too fucking vegan and eco-friendly, should definitely give its sister model, the Saucony Shadow Original “Snake“, a try. Well, for this shoe, at least one animal had to die, which is good beacuse sneakers made of snake leather are absolutely awesome, aren’t they? I mean, snakes are there to give our shoes a fucking sophisticated and luxurious look after all. The unconventional silhouette however doesn’t have much to do with the rest of the sneakers on the market. Yet I must say that it looks very cool and at least cool enough to keep up with the other mainstream products. Whether the coolness of this shoe is the result of the extremely subtile design which is a mix of different styles or whether it’s the snake leather which defines the classiness of these kicks is definitely in the eye of the beholder. One thing is for sure. With this shoe, you will get the hipster style of tomorrow.
