Stephanie Waldrip – Eine nach dir benannte Modellinie – davon träumt doch jeder, oder nicht? Stephanie Waldrip und Gavin Brooks haben sich diesen Traum Anfang 2012 erfüllt. Der ursprüngliche Gedanke entstand, als Stephanie ihren Abschluss in Europäischen Textilien machte. Sie wollte eine RTW-Kollektion kreieren, die elegant im Schnitt und ergiebig und effizient in der Verarbeitung war.
Im Herbst letzten Jahres war es dann soweit. Stephanie stellte ihre erfrischend dynamische Konfektionskleidung vor und hat seitdem ihren Platz in Boutiquen rund um New York City gefunden. Jedes ihrer Teile in der Kollektion enthält eine Geschichte, eine Geschichte, die den Namen und Ursprungsort der European mill beinhaltet, dort wo jeder der verwendeten Stoffen entstanden ist.
Samt aus Frankreich, Jacquargewebe und italienischer Tweed kombiniert mit einem ungewöhnlich großen Farbspektrum bilden das Herz der Kollektion. Die Designerin schafft es durch unerwartete Details, eine Seele in jedes ihrer Kleidungsstücke zu hauchen.

Waldrip was founded in 2012 by longterm friends Stephanie Waldrip and Gavin Brooks and has their headquartes in the Fashion District of Manhattan, New York City. Her eponymous line was initially inspired by the designer’s studies of European textiles. She dreamed of creating a line rich in fabrication and elegant in the silhouette.
Waldrip produced a refreshingly dynamic women’s ready-to-wear collection for Fall 2012 and hast now established and settled in specialty boutiques in and around New York City. Each piece from her collection comes with a story, a story that includes the name and location of the European mill, where each and every fabric originated.
Silk from France, silk jacquards, and Italian tweeds combined with a wide colour range create the heart of the whole operation. With a splash of colour here and there the designer creates pieces with allure and soul.
