Yakampot ist eine mexikanische Modemarke, die als Ableger des Kindermode-Labels „Arroz con Leche“ entstand. Zur Feier des 10-jährigen Bestehens von Arroz con Leche wollten die Macher etwas ganz Besonderes erschaffen, was ihnen mit der neuen Marke auch rundum gelingt. Seit ungefähr einem Jahr überzeugt das Label Yakampot mit einer Mischung aus mexikanischer Tradition und modernem Designs, wobei viel Wert auf zeitloses Design und traditionelles Handwerk gelegt wird.
Der Look von Yakampot erscheint sehr naturverliebt, was man in der aktuellen Kollektion für Herbst und Winter dieses Jahres auch wunderschön sehen kann. Die Farben sind sehr herbstlich, hauptsächlich verwenden die Designer Naturtöne mit verschiedenen Abstufungen von Braun oder Grün. Auch Gelb und Orange gehören zu den Farben der neuen Kollektion.
Der Stil der Frauenmode geht in Richtung Bohemian und Hippie-Look, erinnert aber auch an den wilden Westen. Lockere Westen und lässige Jeanshosen gehören genauso zur Kollektion, wie ein bodenlanges, weißes Kleid. Lederelemente machen die Designs aus Stoff zu Hinguckern. Aber auch Modelle, die nur aus Leder bestehen, unterstützen den Stil von Yakampot.
Für den rundum Hippie-Look dürfen natürlich auch Ponchos nicht fehlen. Diese bietet das Label zum Beispiel in Schwarz oder gestreift, in einer Mischung aus Grün und Braun, an. Die Röcke sind weit geschnitten, auch hier findet sich das süße Streifenmuster wieder, das die neuste Kollektion ausmacht.

Yakampot is a Mexican fashion label, which was founded as a part of the child’s fashion label „Arroz con Leche“. To celebrate their 10th anniversary, the makers wanted to create something very special – and they really did succeed with their new label. For about only a year the label Yakampot has been convincing us with a mix of Mexican tradition and modern designs, where they are paying a lot of attention to skillful tailoring timeless designs and still maintaining traditional handicraft.
The look Yakampot has is inspired by nature, which you can perfectly see in the latest collection for fall and winter this year. The colors are very autumnal, the designers focus on using colors that are also represented in the nature with different gradients in brown or green. Orange and yellow is another pair of colors in the new collection.
The women’s fashion style reminds you of the Bohemian style and hippie looks, but also kind of looks like the wild wild west. Light vests and casual jeans are just as part of the collection as a floor-length white gown. Leather elements make the designs made of cloth real eye catchers. However the pieces that are only made of leather also complement Yakampot’s style.
For the all-around hippie look of course ponchos can’t be left out. These are offered by the label in black or with stripes, for example a mix of green and brown. The skirts have wide cuts and the cute stripe pattern – which is the collection’s fingerprint – is represented yet again.
