DALLASANDCARLOS orientiert sich bezüglich Stil an der Straße, wo sich Drogen-Gangs gegenseitig bekriegen und man schon jung eine harte Schale braucht. Das Label bietet sie oder zumindest Kleidung, die eine harte Schale andeutet, an. Beim Anblick ihrer großen Buchstaben, die an massiven Ketten um den Hals hängen, fühlt sich wohl jeder auf der Stelle klein. Als Symbol für Macht und Einfluss sorgen sie für reichlich Ehrfurcht beim Gegenüber.
Doch es sind auch einladendere Schmuckstücke im Sortiment. „Love“ steht am Ende einer filigranen Kette. Sie scheint so lang zu sein, dass sie direkt in den Ausschnitt der Frau baumeln würde und so noch näher an ihrem Herzen wäre. Auch als Armband macht sich dieser Schriftzug gut. Die Buchstaben hängen zusammen mit einem Kreuz an einer dickeren Kette und formen auch Worte wie „Paris“, „Ciao“ oder „NYC“.
Obwohl das Label oft mit Ketten arbeitet, hat es auch richtig breite Lederbänder als Armbänder im Angebot. Auch dort thronen wieder massive, goldene Buchstaben und erwecken den Eindruck eines Hundehalsbandes. Es wirkt wiederum furchteinflößend, ganz im Gegenteil zu den kleinen, geflochtenen Armbändern. Sie sind bunt und unterschiedlich gemustert. Ebenfalls verziert mit den goldenen Schriftzügen wirken diese aber kindlich und süß.
Obwohl DALLASANDCARLOS oft den großen Macher raushängen lässt und damit wohl viel Eindruck schindet, findet sich doch auch ein verletzlicher und verspielter Aspekt des Labels in ihrer Kollektion. Auf jeden Fall mal reinschauen!

DALLASANDCARLOS is a unique label which considers the streets as its source of inspiration. It cast an eye at an extreme environment which is defined by tough guys who also have to look tough and rough. The label offers clothing which makes you tough, or at least it can make you look tough. Seeing the bold, big printed letters, the massive necklaces hanging from the sturdy, compact and solid throats, everyone would feel like a tiny little kitten in comparison. This clothing serves as a symbol of power and influence, squeezing the last bit of respect out of your enemies.
Nonetheless, the label also offers friendlier pieces of jewelry. The pendant of one very filigree necklace reads “Love”. Hanging in front of the chest, the pendant truly leaves a soft impression, particularly underlined by its position right before the heart. The same caption can be found as metal letters on a wristband. The metal letters can additionally form words such as “Paris”, “Ciao” or “NYC”.
Although the label has many necklaces in store, broad leather wristbands are available as well. Massive, golden metal letters are enthroned on the leather, making them look like dog collars. The braided and delicate wristbands however show a completely different side of this label. They are colorful and have different ethnically inspired patterns. Embellished with golden letters as well, they seem really stylish.
Despite the fact that many pieces by DALLASANDCARLOS are mainly made for tough guys, this label isn’t afraid of showing a more vulnerable and more playful side. Whatsoever, you should really keep an eye on DALLASANDCARLOS.
