Nautilus ist in den Büchern von Jules Vernes ein unbesiegbares super U-Boot. Die Nautilus Automatik von Philippe ist allerdings eine Luxusuhr für die Damenwelt. Man kann aber mit dieser Uhr sicher genauso schnell in die höchsten Kreise eintauchen, wie mit einem speziellen High Society U-Boot.
Den Namen Nautilus trägt sie vermutlich wegen der Bullaugensilhouette. Patek Philippe muss ein Fan von Schiffen sein oder gerade auf einem Schiff gesessen haben, als die Idee für dieses Modell entstand. Segel hoch und volle Fahrt in die höchsten Kreise der High Society, mit dieser Uhr gelingt es. Ich sehe sie am Handgelenk der Frau um die 40. Hätte Carmen Geiss diese Uhr in der letzten ELLE gesehen, hätte sie wahrscheinlich gesagt: „ROOOOBÄÄÄÄÄRRT, guck dir mal diese Uhr an, ist sie nicht schick?“.
Dafür, dass diese Uhr aus Edelstahl ist, sieht sie ziemlich gut aus. Die aufgesetzten Diamanten harmonisieren perfekt mit dem restlichen Design-Patek Philippe zeigt mit dieser Uhr auf jeden Fall, dass man aus Edelstahl mehr machen kann als einen Kochtopf.
