The seemingly flawless models in the elaborate advertising campaigns and shows of hyped labels such as Victoria Secret are actually more or less a fallacy. In times of Photoshop, makeup and a sophisticated imaging technology flaws can be easily retouched and veiled.

For many critics, the marketing segment of ??the fashion world is therefore a big lie, triggering a major psychological harm in the self-perception of many women. Hayat Rachi decided to fight against this serious negative development. She escaped poverty and homelessness to revolutionize the perception of the female body with a kickstarter project. “Neon Moon” is the name of her underwear label whose concept became viral in 2015, and has captured thousands of women’s hearts. What makes the underwear of Neon Moon so special?

– No sweatshops are involved in the production chain.

– It is free from any objectification of the female body.

However, it is above all the special size tags that brought Neon Moon such a huge fan base within such a short time. Neon Moon declines classifying and stigmatizing the diversity of the female body with numbers and letters.
