As the saying goes, there are probably more bars than inhabitants in Kreuzberg. As a result, it can be a difficult for a really great bar to also have a really great location – which makes it all the more lucky that I caught wind of this one!
Cosily furnished and lined with vases of beautiful flowers, the bar gives off the impression that it’s been around forever. It’s a location where one could come to have a drink with friends, or even to read a book alone, all while taking in the wonderful atmosphere. I guess you could call it the perfect living room! It’s perfect for a date, because of its homely ambience. The counter staff are really friendly, too!
The prices are rather appropriate, and I have to say, here is where I’ve had the most delicious shot I’ve ever tasted so far: it’s called Liquid Cocaine, and it’s a mixture of vodka and coffee.
Lerchen und Eulen is the perfect place for winding down at the end of a beautiful summer’s day. There’s even a crime scene every Sunday after 8pm, if you know what I mean… 😉
