Hey Beauties

I got what it feels like a whole wagon load of new Essie nail polishes thanks to Kleiderkreisel and I am really over the moon that I got new toys for our weekly meet-ups for the Manicure Monday ; ) Today I’m going to show you an awesome grey, tough-looking design literally spiked with a big helping of coolness and rock’n’roll.

I hope you like the design!

What you will need:

1x grey polish
1x mattifying topcoat
Studs (buy here)
1x pair of tweezers

Step 1
Let’s start off with a nice grey polish. Mine is by Essie and is called „Chinchilly“.

Step 2
To mattify my nails I used my favorite Essie Topcoat in „Matte about you“. It’s part of the standard product range and I really use it to death.

Step 3

Today’s accent nail is the middle finger nail. I arranged 5 little spikes on it. It’s like a straight little trail from the bottom to the tip of the nail and I love it. Because the topcoat was still wet after applying, the spikes stuck to the nail  amazingly. You won’t need any additioal adhesive whatsoever.

Step 4
With the aid of a little cotton bud and nail polish remover, go ahead and clean up the edges of your nails.  I really hope you like the design. Be sure to head back on Readthetrieb tomorrow. I prepared a little DIY that includes avocado, olive oil and honey!

Yours truly,
Lana Hoang
