Berlin – The champions of the World Cup arrived in Berlin today with one thing on their minds: Celebrate hard. The party started with a parade at the Brandenburger Tor. Hundred thousands of fans euphorically welcomed their team just like the German fans did at the previous three victories. The players and supervisors were extremely close to the parade as they stood on semi-trailer. The initial idea for the “WM Liner” was formed when Germany kicked out host Brazil out of the game during the semi-finals.

The obsidian black Mercedes-Benz Actros 1863 LS and a special Krone Cool Liner acted as a rolling stage on which the victors showed off their well-deserved Cup to the visitors of the DFB Fanmeile.

Stefan Buchner, director of Mercedes-Benz Trucks: “It truly makes us proud that our team was driven by the Mercedes-Benz Actros through the Fanmeile Berlin.”
