The honeybee is dying out; and this is even worse news than you might think. Not only will we have to give up our delicious honey, prosperous meadows will also disappear. Bees are responsible for pollinating 80% of the floral population, as well as 30% of all feed crops.

It’s not a difficult thing to avoid the destruction of the entire ecosystem. 2014 will be another year where large-scale monocultures, insecticides and fine particles will disturb the bees. But YOU can do something to help. How? Just plant the following flowers and herbs in your garden, on your balcony, on the backyard or in overgrown, urban parks:

Lavender

Catnip

Sage

Coriander

Thyme

Fennel

Borage

Crocus

Buttercup

Asters

Hollyhock

Anemone

Snowdrop

Geranium

Sunflower

Marigold

Sweet Alison

Poppy

Zinnia

Pink Queen

Solstices

Not only will you beautify a wild meadow, but you will also save the bees. These are their preferred flowers.
