Givenchy is often known for clearly separated colors with a high contrast. This can also be seen on the following sneaker. Red, black and white create this energetic contrast while clear lines ensure the separation between them.
The slack high-top silhouette reminds us of the 80ies, which is emphasized by the Velcro fastener above the ankle and by the stars that are placed on it. It kind of reminds me of the Air Force 1, which was launched by Nike in 1982. Even the thick sole really resembles the Nike shoe.
