Yes, you read it right. ZDF, a German public television broadcaster, is really planning a copy of the popular and successful TV show Breaking Bad… Wait, wait. It even gets worse: The German comedian Bastian Pastewska, one of the unfunniest comedians I’ve ever seen, is supposed to play Walter White. Yes, you didn’t read it wrong, this is no joke.
Pastewska will play the role of an unemployed graphics designer who decides to print fake money in his garage order to sustain and feed his family. Someday, the mafia is knocking on his door. This is how the fun starts… Well, awesome job, ZDF. You just ruined German television completely for many people.
The new TV rip-off show is titled “Morgen hör ich auf” which translates to “I will stop tomorrow” and is broadcast on four days consecutively.
