The inspiration behind the creation of Marco Bicego’s jewels is rooted in his Venetian origins and impressions he gained from travelling the world. But his strong belief in the craftsmanship and quality of Italian jewelry is the force behind his creations. The uniqueness of his pieces is a result of timeless jewels combined with the craftsmanship and traditional values of Made in Italy – products. The fact that his jewels are always made in 18 carat gold contributes to that theory.

The good man has numerous beautiful collections but I’ve decided to introduce you to my personal 3 favorites out of them all. They are really outstanding and I will tell you why.

Firstly, we have the “Confetti” Collection. Quite convenient giving our past crazy carnival weekend, if you ask me. The collection is colorful and brings joy to my heart. The maker of this glorious collection was inspired by the numerous shades and variations of our environment. The pieces are all handcrafted from 18 carat of gold and the necklaces, rings and cuffs all hold beautiful gems from a rainbow range of beautiful colors

The “Jaipur Link” collection is incredibly elegant and warm. Necklaces, earrings, bracelets as well as rings show irregular links and therefore look very intriguing. These gems were put together with the aid of the time-consuming “Bulino” technique.

Last but not the slightest bit least: The “Murano“ Collection. The designer was inspired by architectural impressions. The same historic before mentioned technique was used to form those intricate pieces. Gems like amethysts, topaz and tourmaline have been used to cover rings and earrings. But my personal highlight has to be the golden, delicate ring with the blue London topaz. That’s the stuff dreams are made of, right?
