The 51-year-old fashion icon is the fashion director of the Japanese Vogue. She started her impressing career with her studies in art history and literature at the University of Bari. After that. she attended a fashion school in Milan, where she got a job as a fashion editor for the Italian Vogue. In 2000, the Italian-born self-made woman became the chief editor of the “L’uomo Vogue”, a Vogue version which focuses on men. After six years, she moved to the Japanese Vogue, “Vogue Nippon”.
Today, she has become a star on the Internet. She always sits in the first rows at any important fashion event; and writes posts on her popular blog.
The founder of the fashion blogging and “The Sartorialist”, Scott Schumann, thinks that people dress up because of their status, but Anna does it, because she loves fashion.
She became fascinated by fashion at a young age. “For me, fashion is a kind of meaning of life. Since I was a kid, I’ve always wanted to know everything about fashion. I dreamed of grasping and comprehending the beauty of the whole world.
