This Danish label already won me over with their designs for women. I was already curious about their menswear.
In their collection for fall and winter 2013/14 for men, small jackets, squared coats, modern suits and leather elements on pants, jackets and shirts set the agenda. Here this label concentrates on colors like black, grey, brown and blue shades. This collection works with classical elements like suits, but also with extraordinary slim-fit leather pants, so that their designs show a well-balanced mixture between classical menswear and current trends.
I especially like the combination of the leather pants, the blue vest with leather applications with its fitting leather tie and the slim fit jacket. This look is very modern and rids the sport coat of its old-fashioned image. I also like contrast created by combining a grey, simple slim-fit suit with a crème-colored shirt and a belt on top of the jacket to emphasize the waist. Especially the new interpretation of using a belt really suits my taste, which gives the classic suit a refreshing highlight.
But for me the most eye-catching piece is the slim-fit suit in black paired with a leather shirt underneath. Just breathtaking! The menswear collection of Sand makes me want to see more men in suits with the courage to live out their passion for fashion!
