Ester Abner’s fall and winter collection 2013/14 offers pure seduction and a touch of fairy tale. The Russian designer presents a selection of floor-length gowns, dresses and suits.
What I find really thrilling is the quite unusual mix between the sexy, seductive elements, which are instantly eye-catching, and some romantic details which remind of tales and magic.
The main feature is the very deep neckline which you can find on almost every piece.
But as if an emphasized décolleté isn’t pleasant and eye-catching enough, the plunging necklines is also reinforced by sharp cuts, “as keen as a razor”, one could say. The upper part of the body is moreover highlighted by edgy cut-out details, sometimes in the form of cross shapes which run across the whole front side of the dress or top.
The fairytale-like touch comes with beautiful long gowns and their leaf prints.
Also the soft fabrics or the earth shade colors support the effect. Other details are wide parts of fabrics which reveal some skin. These transparent pieces enhance the feminine look. The mystic breeze is achieved by some leather elements such as belts or peplum pieces and of course black as a basis for many of the suits and dresses.
