X-Man for adults: Both the drawing style and the story can be compared to thrillers, action movies in terms of violence and action. It has a nice black movie touch and a heroin chic charm and is drawn in a realistic style and inked in a nice dirty way.
The novella shows the two main characters Wolverine and Domino and their real “me”. Killer, mercenaries and cold-hearted even though they are known as the “good” ones. So if these are the good ones, you don’t want to know the bad ones.
Story: Domino winds up a mafia gang . This time, she dealt with the wrong people. They are no newcomers. Of course, things don’t turn out very well for her and many people are chasing her. Thanks to her charms … or positive ambitions she can convince Logan Wolverine to help her fighting against her enemies. Fast, hectic attacks, swift massacre and nice dialogues combined in drawn shapes.
It’s a graphic novel which shouldn’t be missing in any X-Men fan’s shelf. Of course, you have to be old enough. By the way, sex also appears in the story.
