The label Lug von Siga is known for its combination of oriental and western elements. The combination is kept in perfect balance and doesn’t appear too contrasting. The designer was born and raised in Istanbul and studied design in Milan. This mixture of two different cultures can be also found in her designs. In her fall collection 2013, you can primarily see European elements which are combined with a touch of 50ies flair. Feminine cuts and colors dominate this collection.
On the other hand, the spring and summer collection 2014 includes many oriental elements. Beside oriental patterns, there are also many cut-outs, fringes and applications that complete the product line. All in all, Lug von Siga is a label which knows how to mix oriental and occidental elements without only sticking to fashionable clichés.
