Mareike Massing took place in the KoKo Graduate Fashion show with her collection “Acting Big”. In the end, she succeeded in proving at least one thing: Why being humble if you really are BIG.
When we take a look at the cuts, it’s clear that box-shaped silhouettes are very dominant. Despite the very stiff and geometrical cuts unfeminine silhouettes, the designer managed to underline the feminine character of her collection. Furthermore, a mixture and combination of many different materials can be found, which just speaks for the abilities of Mareike Massing.
Regarding the colors, the collection is definitely dominated by the colors black and white, which are absolutely en vogue. What really has to be praised is the fact that the designer did not fear nudeness. She let her model walk on the catwalk in a transparent, black top.
