It’s the newest popular place of the west city. As the coolest cocktail maker, Andreas Lanninger (from “Harry’s New York Bar” in Esplanade) chose Charlottenburg as the home of his new club restaurant “NY”, it was a statement for West Berlin. And the trendsetting expert of Berlin’s nightlife was proven right. Since Lannie opened his restaurant a few months ago at Olivaerplatz 15, he established the latest hotspot.
The harmonious ensemble of a grill restaurant, capricious and alternating live acts, a remarkable bar and comfortable smoking lounge is under constant development. In terms of food, they have classy caviar on their menu; and about service, they provide a personal driver for those who need it. “Whoever is unable to drive its own vehicle at the end of the night, can ask for a personal driver who takes you home in your own car. Furthermore, we offer you valet parking on weekends!”, Lannie says.
We enjoyed our evening in “NY” to the fullest. It was a real highlight after a day of work. The versatile influences of modern and slightly rustic designs were combined into a harmonizing ensemble. All guests are dressed as classy as the place’s image. This is a hotspot for a fancy evening. Models, designers, the upper class of the west and also the common citizens with style are invited to Lannie’s establishment of “NY”.
Lannie did something productive again and created the MY WIESN. Whoever thinks that the original New Yorker club restaurant isn’t good enough, they shall take a look at the trendy cuckoo clock just above the entrance.
