Hey Beauties,
You all know how life can be a little bit weird sometimes. You can walk through life without a single blemish on your face for months until the guy you’ve had a huge crush on finally asks you on a date then boom. Zits all over the place. What the…?
Today’s Tip Tuesday is all about emergency beauty fixes. Advices like keep your hands off your face or always clean your brushes can do little when the date is right around the corner which is why I have 5 things for you which will work immediately.
Enjoy!
#1 Toothpaste
Dab – but don’t rub – some toothpaste on to the pimple, avoiding the surrounding skin. Then leave it on for at least 15 minutes and finally rinse it off with luke warm water. Avoid mint-flavored toothpaste as is can cause soreness.
The baking soga inside many toothpastes has a calming effect on the zit. It soaks up the excess oil, similar to a clay mask.
#2 Aspirin
Crush an aspirin with the back of a spoon, add water until you have a creamy paste. Now put the aspirin paste on to the pimple and allow the paste to dry for 15 – 30 minutes. Rinse it off with lukewarm water.
The salicylic acid contained in aspirin is used as an active ingredient in many acne treatment products. It cleans the pores deeply and gently pulls out the dead, cloggin flakes of skin.
#3 Clinique Acne Solution Spot Healing Gel
Anwendung:
Vor dem Schlafen gehen 1 – 2 Tröpfchen auf die zu behandelnde Stellen tupfen. Dabei solltet ihr darauf achten, dass das Produkt nicht auf die gesunde Haut kommt.
Use 1-2 dops before going to bed. Avoid the healthy skin around the spot because it can burn like hell.
This product has been my knight in shining armour multiple times now. It burns like hell and can itch even worse but it works like nobody’s business. It also contains salicyl acid which has a calming effect on the pimple.
#4 La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo
This one’s not as aggressive as the before mentioned gel from clinique which is why you can easily use it on your healty skin as well. It also uncloggs pores and gets rid of excess oil.
Because it is on a milder side you can use it on a daily basis but don’ t overdue it because this one can burn as well.
#5 Der letzte Tip für heute: Teebaumöl Concealer
The Body Shop’s Concealer from their tee trea oil line is for all of you who don’t have time for the things above. It conceals and treats the zit at the same time. Just dab it onto your face with clean fingers, fix it with powder and you’re good to go.
I already posted a whole blog post about the benefits of tea trea oil. I’ll link it down below if you would want to read it.
Hopefully this post could be of any help for you.
Thank you for your time.
