Philippa Galasso was already presented with her summer collection “Après le Rêve”, where the romantic moment of waking up was converted into dresses. The winter collection is entitled “Rêve Noir” and shows the story before. While Philippa Galassos summer collection was very romantic and dreamy, the winter collection is probably dedicated to the seductive aspect of dreaming. The collection is, as the name suggests, completely black. With the finest materials, like silk, Swarovski crystals and French lace, the clothes are just for made seduction.
Even if they are buttoned up, like a black blouse, there is always a small loophole remaining opened giving the design its seductive power, as well as the fact that the lace body suit with the small openings always shows a little bit of skin. The pencil skirt gets an additional playful layer of fabric and some Swarovski crystals to give it some shiny glamour.
Just like in the summer collection, Philippa Galasso demonstrates her skills in terms of material processing in the winter collection as well- A complete skirt is decorated with small pieces of cloth, as if there was a massive army confronting the nothingness of the strapless top and and a bow tie strangling the model’s neck. In her autumn and winter collection 2013-14 Philippa Galasso presented wicked dreams with her seductive clothes.
