Everybody knows this feeling: you buy a whole bunch of stuff online, then it gets here and you realize that you don’t actually need that vacuuming robot thing and electric cat litter box after all.
No big deal, right? After all, aren’t returns free? Well, not for much longer. Starting 13 June 2014, there will be new EU guidelines put into place, such that the return of goods costing over € 40 will no longer be free. Furthermore, you have to state the reasons for the product return via email or fax.
Now, I’ll have to think twice about buying a 3m alligator plush toy, just to get bored and send him back a few days later. By the way, Welt.de has a very interesting survey regarding this at the following link, with all answers available in a graphic form:
