I’d like to take this opportunity to introduce you to Franziska Michael , who I personally really adore and whom I’m looking forward to see during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Berlin. Her eponymous line represents unconventional and extraordinary fashion and her Fall and Winter Collection for 2015/2016 will definitely be the center of attention at the location in front of the Brandenburger Tor. Expect nothing less than pure excitement because this collection oversteps borders like nothing else. The needed amount of courage to experiment with new styles is definitely present. That’s actually the perfect description for the brand’s essence as the designer continuously proves that she’s open to individuality and does not fear to set herself apart from the mainstream.

Ever since she launched her label in 2009, she’s been continuously experimenting with new spheres of fashion and excelling in doing so. Her Summer Collection of 2015 is no exception. It contains unusual fashion pieces that refuse to be categorized. Fashion lovers from all over the world, especially those, who appreciate the truly special treasures won’t be disappointed.

Get ready for edgy designs, graphic prints and lace fabric. Symmetric and very artistic prints in combination with the matching designs display a perfectly clear structure. The whole collection appears futuristic and innovative through the interaction of graphics and dominant forms. You’ll spot maxi designs, leather and sexy overalls that were made for the confident woman of today. The obligatory sexy touch was added by the usage of sheer fabrics and so called holy patterns, for instance on a simple black dress.

For the men out there the designer created oversize t-shirts made out of net fabrics and maxi pants. Cropped designs aren’t exclusively for the women, that’s what the designer thought, so she created cropped pieces for both genders. As for the obligatory layer look, Franziska successfully added her individual note to it by using net fabrics. The cherry on top of everything is the versatile color palette. Black, white, beige, metallic shades and soft rose colors create the perfect balance between the designs and patterns of the collection.
