Long it was and rather sleepless. But no, who now thinks the Berliners have made the New York nightlife unsafe, is wrong! I have caught, thanks to the air conditioning, a nice thick cold and lying down flat. New York, however, would not be New York if I were to cure my cold now in bed. So yesterday we put ourselves into our thick jackets and once again explored the area. Unbelievable how many shops you can find here: Topshop, Zara, Sephora, LV, Gucci and there is SALE! everywhere
Last night by the way I tried to my first steak after 10 years. Unfortunately, I have cooked the meat a little too hot and so all the fire detectors in the apartment went directly off. Luckily I have Fashion Franky with me, because with my 1,58m I would not even closel approach the off switch. The “cooking” still worked out fine- so there was a juicy steak for Franky, the head of the RTT team, a Veggi steak for me and salad. As you can see, we live quite healthy and frugal in New York, despite the many temptations. But the weekend is not far away …
