Only until the start of April, the German Historical Museum in Berlin presents 100 pieces from the Israeli memorial, Yad Vashem. This is the largest exhibition of the work from Yad Vashem outside Israel and is a symbol for the 50 years of collaboration between Germany and Israel.

The artworks are focused on one of the greatest tragedy and crime of the human history, the Holocaust. The images and drawings were created under inhuman conditions and in secret, in labor camps, concentration camps and ghettos.

The pieces display the triumph of the spirit, the creative resistance to not succumb to what is known to be a death sentence. The soul of a man, a processing of the horror, oppressive and yet hopeful. An exhibition that everyone should visit!
