For the realization that the Irish know how to have a good party you do not have to take a flight to Dublin. A mere visit to your local Irish Pub should be enough to get accustomed to Irish drinking culture. But you might have heard about a certain day that exceeds the biggest bar night from year to year again. I’m talking of course about the Saint Patrick’s Day.

Saint Patrick was the first Christian missionary coming to Ireland and is therefore quite popular with the Irish. In his honor the former rather ecclesiastic celebrated day has become a little bit of a carnival that is celebrated around the world by – of course – the Irish, people with an Irish heritage and more and more non-Irish people.

If you want to join the party, just pay a visit to your local pub at 17th of March and get that Guinness game going. Cheers!
