The demand and market for cosmetic surgeries has strongly increased during the last few years. Brazil is one of the leaders in plastic surgery with a sharp rise in procedures for men. According to the Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery (SBCP), the number of surgeries among men in Brazil increased from 72,000 in 2009 to 276,000 procedures in 2014.
