Denim care – To wash or not to wash?

Urban street style has yet to disappear from todays’ fashion world. This fact became all the clearer during the Fashion Week. Everywhere you look, you can spot denim in all variations and shapes. However, with the comeback of the sturdy fabric, one crucial question pops up: How do we take proper care of denim? Many denim lovers swear on one particular method that (almost) doesn’t require washing whatsoever.

That might be confusing, but you have to take into consideration that most denim jeans were colored with a natural type of indigo. That means, for instance, that it will fade quicker than its components. So if you are one of those people who like to invest a little bit more into a pair of good and durable denim jeans, you might find this method useful. To prevent unpleasant odors but also retain the color for as long as possible, try and put your jeans in the freezer. Little stains can be removed with spot cleaning methods.
