This summer, Hermès gives us a seductive prêt-à-porter line, perfect for the modern gentleman that moves around his urban environment with great confidence. This traditional fashion company has great talent in tracking down new trends and implementing creative ideas. Season after season, they deliver impressive silhouettes that know how to highlight the masculinity of men in a youthful manner.
This year’s summer line appears to be a mixture of refined and sporty elements; it’s a streetwear line with an elegant finish. Classical menswear models have been subject to new forms and structures, resulting in exciting statement pieces. The crochet t-shirt and bomber jacket are one of my all-time favourites!
The experimental colour scheme individualises the components of a coherent composition: black and dark blue represent chic, whereas brown, olive, mustard-yellow and orange ensure a youthful touch. The pattern scheme is equally interesting: it gives rise to an innovative picture through the usage of camouflage, floral and geometric prints.
