Hey Beauties!

Welcome to our weekly Manicure Monday hour on Read The Trieb. Today we’ll be working with one of my most loved color combinations: Blue and black. The whole thing will be transferred in the form of what I like to call “Ice flowers”.

What you will need:

1x black polish
1x matte top coat
1x light blue polish
1x medium blue polish
1x Dotting Tool

Step 1
For this blossomy look you’ll need a black matte canvas to work with. That means for us getting our black polish as well as our matte top coat ready to paint. Do just that with all of your nails and let them dry.

Step 2
Now comes the tricky part with the blossoms. Pour a little bit of nail polish on a piece of paper and dip your dotting tool in it to create the flowers. Pick a nail and draw a small little dot in the corner of your chosen nail. Then create via drawing little strokes your blossoms.

Step 3
Those little strokes can be built up and should create your flowers. For reference please look on the picture above.

Step 4
Then just take the darker blue shade and repeat this process. Keep in mind to actually place your new flower on the opposite side of the first one to fill out the whole nail. You can make your flowers as big as you want to, they can even cross mid-way.

I really hope your liked this look. If you did, like, comment or share!

Yours truly,
Lana Hoang
