The twin sisters Vera and Olivera Capara are not only externally the same, but also share the same passion for fashion design. Because they both love fashion so much, they completed a course of study in Antwerp. Already during their studies, their incredible talents were discovered – by Dries van Noten. And so the duo hopped on into his design team in the year of 2000 after their graduation.
But that’s not all – Vera and Olivera have accomplished a remarkable CV in the field of fashion, until they were ready in the year 2009 for something new. This was the launch-year of their own fashion brand that has generated sensation worldwide shortly after. The sisters even have a connection to Germany, as they grew up here – and will be displaying their designs in July at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin!
The autumn and winter collection 2015/16 bears the name “I’m in the Moment” and deals with edges, volume and geometry. The straight lines in combination with geometric prints, earth or black shades and modern maxi-attitude are always good for a strong appearance. Accompanied by Bordeaux-red and powerful blue, you can see a collection for the sophisticated woman, the young-at-heart lady with self-confidence and courage for individuality.
