Just like in every fashion show, the first and the last models are the ones whom the designers are particularly pleased with, which is also the case during the fashion weeks. To get hold of the opening and closing shows is a great honour that is usually given to the more renowned designers. No wonder Victoria Beckham is so honoured at the Singapore Fashion Week.  A couple of years after her Spice Girl times, her style has changed drastically and in no time, she has become an acclaimed fashion icon. Of course, the next logical step then would be to leap into the fashion business. And for Victoria Beckham, this jump appears to have been worth the effort. Her label has seen great success ever since its inception in 2009 and has been catching the trend of the times with its minimalistic, stylish look.  Her A/W 15 line is a testament to this style. Clear lines appear understated and elegant. The creations have a purist and womanly-feeling style that is spiced up with the sparing, eye-catching details and more eccentric parts. This allows the wearer to make a statement with the creations without losing the elegant and spruce aspect of the look. And to me, this is exactly the strength of Victoria Beckhams. It is not about simple eccentricity in a cultivated and stylish package.  If I had the chance to wear her designs, I would definitely feel self-confident, strong and sophisticated. And who wouldn’t want that?
