A couple of months ago Anastasia Beverly Hills launched her new liquid lipstick collection that includes a lot of new and different colors. One of them is the color ‘Sad Girl’, which currently the whole makeup industry hypes about. The color is a deep, blue toned red that has pink glitter particles in it. But because this product is hard to get at the moment, especially in Germany, I’m going to show you a lip combination today, that you can use to recreate this color.
Step 1: First of all, line your lips with a red lip liner to map out your lip shape.
Step 2: Next fill in your entire lips with a blue toned, red lipstick. Here I used the color ’09 – Lover’ by Chanel.
Step 3: Dab on a cool toned, light pink, shimmery eyeshadow on to the center of your lips and blend it in with the lipstick.
Step 4: Because the original color is a little bit darker, use a dark lip liner (‘Nightmoth’ by MAC) to create some contrast on the outer corners of your mouth.
Step 5: If you want to recreate the matte finish, the liquid lipsticks have after they dried completely, take a tissue and dab it carefully on to your lips and voila: your look is done!
