Designer Bibian Blue is famous for mixing extravagant avant-garde with elements of Ready-to-Wear. Within her sophisticated collections, incredibly diverse pieces meet one another, giving rise to a crackling tension – a friction. You can barely find any simplicity, thanks to Bibian’s love to play around with silhouettes.
Sophisticated silhouettes are Bibian’s passion, accentuated by numerous design details, decorated with striking graphics and characterized by a hint of vintage or a gothic attitude. I find this combination of vintage and avant-garde consistently fascinating. The complicated forms of the women’s fashion are accompanied by the classical forms of men’s fashion.
Barock and Neoclassical styles inspire the designer Bibian Blue, who has begun her career in the year 2000. Her nostalgic work, characterized by European art and experimental materials found itself to be popular in the underground scene. Through the costume character, celebrities receive attention just as quickly as newcomers and fall in love with the unprecedented design.
New to the market is the summer collection of 2015. I would almost declare that the fabulous prints are the focus here… if not for the experimental silhouettes! The human anatomy adorns a complicated one-piece, reminiscent of the combination of suspenders and corsets. Other collections are dominated by magnificent, playful and glamourous gowns. The man mostly adorns a combination of shirt and pants, creating a traditional appearance with the retro-prints.
Laces, embroidery, feathers, but also silk, leather and vinyl have put together, as always, a majestic appearance.
