Like previously promised: My BOAB article regarding the cheaper drugstore alternatives to use instead of MACs Pro Longwear Concealer for the under eye area. In the past week I wrote a little review about the concealer. I told you that although I loved the product, it didn’t fit in my budget whatsoever. That’s why I would like to introduce you to two of my most beloved under eye concealers for a much better price.
The first one is by Rimmel London and is called the “Wake Me Up” Concealer. This name might ring a lot of bells because it’s been really raved about on YouTube – which it definitely deserved! The name says it all: No matter what you did the past night (like I watched sitcoms for what felt like hours and hours) it will definitely not be detectable on your face. After applying this miracle worker I look like I slept like a baby. It has a doefoot applicator, which is not very good, I admit, but the product itself is amazing. It’s intensely opaque without being drying.

The second product is a little bit easier to get. The “Eraser” by Maybelline New York can be purchased in your local drugstore; both dm and Rossmann stock it. It also retails for about 8€. I used to use this to bits because I loved how it felt on my skin. You just have to screw off the top and get on with it. Unfortunately it also has a spongy applicator, which you can’t clean but it’s still a great and most importantly much cheaper alternative to use on your dark circles!
