Hello fellow beauty lovers
The colorful collection is the product of the collaboration between the Chinese jewelry designer Bao Bao Wan and MAC. It has to be one of the most anticipated collections in this year’s spring. I strongly suspect it has a lot to do with how strictly limited her beautiful products are.
Bao Bao Wan is a huge personality in China. She’s both designer and It-Girl, which makes her one of the most popular women in Asia. It was just a matter of time that MAC approached her requesting this talented artist to design this beautiful collection for us.
The collection holds 4 lipsticks for us to devour:
Romantic Breakdown – a soft nude with a lustre, shiny finish
Forbidden Sunrise – an intense and creamy neon orange with a matte finish
Burmese Kiss – an equally intense matte coral pink
Lavender Jade – a light lavender color with golden glitter particles, also matte
I already know that the lipsticks will be gone in mere minutes. People are already going crazy about the collection, especially Burmese Kiss and Lavender Jade are popular. The lipsticks will retail for 22€ because of the special packaging.
Also included in the collection is the “Beauty Powder” with golden shimmer – also a rather hyped product. It goes by the name “Summer Opal“ and retails for 35€.
The heart of the collection is the eyeshadow palette in “Bao Bao Jewels“ – those are 6 beautiful, warm and shimmering shades and the whole palette retails for 46€.
And last but not least: the nail varnishes. “Kashmir Blue“ is a royal blue with beautiful glitter particles, “Imperial Green“ is a pretty emerald green and “Sunset Tourmaline“ is a brownish red with blue particles.
Here in Germany, the collection will be sold exclusively at Karstadt at the beginning of April. The collection can also be purchased in chosen retailers in Austria and also in the KaDeWe in Berlin, but I highly suspect that by now everything’s been grazed already. Here’s to hope that we’ll get luckier online on Karstadt.
