American artist Damon Hellanbrand has always had a great passion for art. First it was Disney, later he got interested in artists like Boris Vallejo, Frank Frazetta and Ralph McQuarrie, who are known for their fantasy works and in the case of Ralph McQuarrie for his science fiction art. McQuarrie is also known as the father of the Concept Art behind Star Wars by the way! His newest creation is the new interpretation of the zodiac signs. Inspired by all these artists, Hellenbrand published a series of artworks depicting his interpretation of the zodiacs

When he is satisfied with them, he starts to use coal and acrylic to add color.
