Hey mate,
Ich hoffe du hast meinen letzten Bericht zu unserem Firmenausflug zum
Hunter Valley nicht vergessen. Dieses Mal möchte ich meinen Report über
diesen super spaßigen Tag mit meinen Kollegen abschließen.
Wir waren also dabei unsere leckeren Pizzen und Bier in der HOPE Estate
Brauerei zu genießen. Und ja, wir waren alle sehr, sehr glücklich und
laut und ein bisschen angetrunken. Nachdem wir mehr als acht Weine
probiert haben und nochmal welche in der Brauerei und Bier bekommen
haben, war es offensichtlich, dass das passieren würde. Aber wer sagte,
dass das nicht getoppt werden könnte?
Die nächste Alkbombe wartete schon auf uns nur wenige Minuten weiter.
Zeit für Wodka! Oh mein Gott, Leute, das war verrückt. Wir gingen zur
einzigen Bio-Brennerei in der südlichen Hemisphere. Was wir sahen, war
eine riesige Halle gefüllt mit Wodka Flaschen. Um ehrlich zu sein, kann
ich kein puren Wodka trinken, also war ich etwas ängstlich, aber es wäre
so langweilig gewesen, hätte ich nichts probiert. Wir kamen alle zur
Bar, die aber eher aussah wie ein Labor. Eine Frau kam und holte
Reagenzglashalter nach Reagenzglashalter aus dem Kühlschrank raus.
Zahlreiche Reagenzgläser waren gefüllt mit verschiedenen Wodka Samples,
die alle darauf warteten, getrunken zu werden.
Es gab sogar eine Karte von der wir dann zum Beispiel Schokoladen-Wodka,
Mango- oder Lavendel-Wodka, Vanille- und Karamell-Wodka serviert
bekamen. Hast du jemals solche exotischen Wodkasorten probiert? Auch
wenn da immer nur ein kleines Bisschen in den Gläsern warn, konnte ich
nicht alles trinken. Also hörte ich nach den ersten dreien auf und
probierte nur noch mit meiner Zungenspitze, was eigentlich auch schon zu
viel für mich war. Aber das Beste kam noch. Manche von uns (übrigens
auch ich) waren so mutig und probierten Chilli-Wodka, was nur als
Sonderbestellung serviert wurde! Wir alle lachten noch und machten Späße
bis wir anstießen und den Wodka tranken. Ja, dann verwandelten sich
unsere Gesichter nämlich in alienartige Visagen. Das war einfach nur
witzig and der Wodka war so was von NICHT witzig. Das war eines der
verrücktesten und „schmerzhaftesten“ Sachen, die ich je getrunken habe.
Mein Chef war ziemlich amüsiert darüber und machte einpaar Fotos, die,
naja, leider daneben gingen. Nichtsdestotrotz hatten wir eine sehr gute
Zeit dort und trafen dort sogar einen ziemlich sexy Junggesellen ;).
Wenn du denkst, das war alles, dann irrst du dich gewaltig. Nach fast 20
Weinsorten und mehr als fünf Wodkasorten mussten wir zu unserem letzten
Weinstop und Schokospot fahren. Ja, wieder Wein. Das war dann auch der
Moment als alle langsam ziemlich müde wurden, vor allem ich. Ich sah aus
als wäre ich tot. I glaube ich brauchte damals echt dringend Schlaf.
Also versuchte ich den letzten Stop zu überleben, der sowieso nicht so
prickelnd war. Und leider erhielten wir auch nur ziemlich wenige,
winzige Schokistückchen zum Testen. Nichtsdestotrotz hatte ich die
Möglichkeit eine Gruppe Kängurus zu entdecken. Eigentlich dachte ich,
die würden alle wegrennen…sorry, weghüpfen als wir uns näherten, aber
sie blieben stehen und das Lustige, sie starrten alle in unsere
Richtung. Ziemlich komisch, wenn eine große Gruppe Kängurus plötzlich
nur dich anstarrt. Trotzdem waren die unglaublich süß und ich bin
dankbar, dass ich ein nettes Bild machen konnte auch wenn ich mir
gewünscht hätte, dass ich näher an denen ran könnte.
Nun, und wenn ihr euch fragt, wie es mir im Nachhinein ging…gut,
abgesehen von meinen Magenschmerzen am nächsten Tag.

The Sydney Tour – The Hunter Valley – Wine, Vodka and Chocolate Tour –
Part 2
Hey mate,
I hope you didn’t forget about my last report on my company’s Hunter
Valley tour. This time, I want to complete my report on this great fun
day with my colleagues in the Hunter Valley.
So, we were enjoying our delicious pizzas and beer at HOPE Estate
brewery. And yes, we were all very, very happy and loud and just a
little drunk. Having tried more than eight wines, we received four other
ones at this brewery and had some beer so that was just obvious that
this would happen. But who said, this can’t be topped?
The next alcohol bomb was already waiting for us a few minutes away. It
was time for Vodka! Oh my god, this was crazy, guys. We went to the only
organic distillery in the southern hemisphere, the Hunter Distillery.
What we saw was a big hall filled with Vodka bottles! To be honest, I
can’t drink pure Vodka so I was quite afraid of it, but it would have
been so boring if I hadn’t tried it. We all came together in front of a
bar, which actually resembled a laboratory. A woman came and pulled out
test tube racks after test tube racks of the fridge. Numerous test tubes
were filled with different Vodka samples, which were all waiting to be
drank.
They even had a menu from which we got for example chocolate Vodka,
mango or lavender Vodka, vanilla and caramel Vodka. Have you ever tried
such exotic Vodka types? Even though there was always just a tiny bit in
the test tubes, I really couldn’t drink all of them. After the first
three one I started just to try them with the tip of my tongue, and this
was already too much. However, the best thing came last. And some of us
were brave enough (including me, by the way) to try chilli Vodka, which
would be only served as a special order! All of us were laughing and
joking at first, but when we cheered and drank that stuff our faces
transformed into alien-like visages. That was so funny and the Vodka was
so NOT funny. This was one of the most craziest and „hurting“ things
I’ve ever drunken. My boss was pretty amused and needed to take some
photos, which, well, failed though. Anyways, we had a really good time
there and also met a pretty sexy bachelor ;).
If you think that was all, you are so wrong. So after almost 20 wines
and more than 5 Vodkas, we had to head to our last wine tasting and
chocolate place. Yes, again wine. This was the time when most of us got
quite tired, especially me. I looked like I was dead. I guess I urgently
needed to sleep. So, I tried to survive the last one, which was not
good, anyways. And unfortunately, we only received just a few small
pieces of chocolate. Nevertheless, I had to chance to discover a group
of roos. I actually thought they would all ran … sorry, jump away when
we started to approach them, but what was funny and a little scaring was
that they all stayed and they all started to glare at us. Pretty weird
when a big group of kangaroos starts to turn their heads only to you.
Still, they were very cute and I’m thankful I could take a nice picture
of them even if I wish I could have stood next to them.
If you wonder about how I felt after the trip… well, I was fine
